Easy Jam Life (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) in connection with the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

“Personal Information” refers to information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and means information relating to a living individual that can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained therein. It also includes information that can identify a specific individual from data such as facial images, fingerprints, voiceprints, and insurer numbers of health insurance cards (personally identifiable information).


Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number during user registration.
Additionally, the Company may obtain transaction records and payment information that includes Users’ personal information from its affiliates (including information providers, advertisers, ad distributors, etc., hereinafter referred to as “Partners”).


Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Service

  • To respond to User inquiries (including identity verification)

  • To send updates, new features, promotional emails, and information about other services provided by the Company

  • To contact Users when necessary for maintenance or important notices

  • To identify Users who violate the Terms of Service or attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to deny their access

  • To allow Users to view, modify, or delete their registration information and usage history

  • To bill Users for paid services

  • For purposes incidental to the above


Article 4 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)
The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only if it is reasonably deemed to be relevant to the original purpose.
If such changes are made, the revised purpose will be announced or notified to Users by a method prescribed by the Company or posted on this website.


Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases or when permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws:

  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual

  • When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent

  • When cooperating with a national or local government agency or its agent performing legally prescribed duties, and obtaining consent may interfere with such duties

  • When the following conditions are met and reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission:

    • The provision to third parties is included in the purpose of use

    • The data items to be provided

    • The method or means of provision

    • That provision to third parties can be suspended upon request

    • The method for Users to make such requests

Exceptions:
The following are not considered third parties in the context above:

  • When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use

  • When personal information is provided due to a business succession resulting from a merger or other reasons

  • When personal information is jointly used with specific individuals and the details of such joint use (scope, purpose, and responsible party) are either notified to the User in advance or made easily accessible


Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When a User requests disclosure of their personal information, the Company shall promptly respond unless any of the following apply:

  • It may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the User or a third party

  • It may significantly interfere with the proper execution of the Company’s business

  • It may violate other laws or regulations

If a request is rejected, the User will be notified promptly.
A handling fee of ¥1,000 per request will be charged for the disclosure.

Note: The Company generally does not disclose non-personal data such as access logs or behavioral characteristics.


Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a User believes that their personal information held by the Company is incorrect, they may request correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction, etc.”) following the Company’s prescribed procedures.
If the Company deems such request reasonable, it shall promptly make the necessary Correction, etc.
The Company shall notify the User without delay upon completion or rejection of the request.


Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)
If a User requests the suspension or deletion of their personal information on the grounds that it has been used beyond the intended scope or obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will investigate the matter without delay.
If deemed necessary based on the investigation, the Company shall promptly suspend or delete such information.
If action is taken or not taken, the User will be notified accordingly.
However, if such action involves substantial costs or is otherwise difficult, the Company may take alternative measures to protect the User’s rights and interests.


Article 9 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
Unless otherwise required by law or otherwise specified in this Policy, the Company may revise the content of this Policy without prior notice to Users.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect upon posting on this website.
